Swedish and my first Waldorf Doll on Etsy

Finally I have decided to take that big step and listed my first Waldorf doll on Etsy.

It's really scary.

If you are a crafter and have a store on etsy you may understand my fear. The fear that you don't sell, or that people don't like her or just imagine that someone buy her and then complain on something they are not pleased with... It is overwhelming and I think that was one of the reasons I took so long to decide to put her for selling.

So Clara is here looking for a new home.

I will also start to have my posts available in Swedish, apologising in advance for my not perfect writing as neither Swedish or English are my mother language.

Clara

In Gothemburg at midnight in new year´s eve there is fireworks all over and Clara didnt wanted to miss it.

Its cold but she wanted to go out to the balcony and see all the brilliant colours in the sky.

I didnt wanted a sick girl at home so I prepared a very warm wardrobe so she could be outside and not freeze.

Clara hair is soft wool and alpaca.

She is dressing a cotton top and matching burgundy tights.

Her jacket is made of wool felt and to keep her really warm she got a very fashion cowl and matching shoes in pink alpaca wool.

Sarah & Lynsie

Sarah is all ready, clothes been decided and she was just waiting for her friend Lynsie to arrive from Australia. They been chatting all the time and I think they will be missing each other very much when Sarah leaves tomorrow morning.

Sarah decided she wanted to take her red dress and asked me to do her a apron so she can help her new mummy preparing the meals on the holidays.

She have a very sweet nightgown that matches her purple hair and a cardigan for more chilling nights.

Of course she wanted matching shoes for both outfits!

Ohh Sarah, I'm already missing you!

Sarah

This is Sarah, she is made from waldorf traditional pattern and she is 30cm tall.

Her hair is handspun merino wool super soft.

Today I made 2 dresses to Sarah

Dont you just love the kittens printed in this fabric?

Its from Chloes Closet Lil' Rascals Collection for Moda.

I haven't decide what set she will dress for her trip to USA.

She might use the kitten's dress with the pink crochet cardigan.

Or she might go with the red dot dress maybe with a cute apron (still to come).

Have a great weekend everyone!

And here is Sarah on her final look!!

DIP - Dolls In Progress

This week I been working in my 2 dolls, one 30cm (12") that its part of a swap and a new 40cm (16") doll.

Every doll I start I learn something new and I love to evolve during the process. Yesterday I done the best eyes I ever done before and I was very happy with them, they are a major improvement to prior trys.
Of course sometimes its hard and frustrating when I can´t achieve the look I want, and then I can rely on friends like Daniela that was ready to lead me and help me, showing me and helping me when today I got a litle bit lost. Thank you Daniela!

Today I also got a temporary craft area in our bedroom. My husband have already planned on how he will build a craft area for me, but that will take some time so today he set a long desk were i can sew in one side and have my cutting mat in the other, another major improvement for me! Thank you husband!
